Rob Alcaraz is a Pulitzer Prize-winning cinematographer and director based in New York City.

Rob currently leads creative as a Director at Salesforce Studios, overseeing the development and production of customer films, original series, and social content as part of Salesforce’s global video marketing efforts. His work spans internationally recognized brands and properties, including Gucci, Cartier, Formula 1, and Metallica.

Previously, Rob served as Director of Videography at The Wall Street Journal, where he helped define the visual language of the newsroom’s video storytelling. Over the years, he held multiple roles at WSJ—from senior producer to live show editor—guiding projects from pitch to post and mentoring cross-functional teams along the way. His work at WSJ earned him a Pulitzer Prize for his contribution to the video coverage of the Stormy Daniels investigation.

Rob began his career as a writer and photographer for Tucson Weekly and as an editor for The Pulse of SD. He holds both a B.A. and M.A. from the University of Arizona’s School of Journalism.
